Trading boats welcome at Sawley Market

THERE is the opportunity for trading boats to do business at the annual Sawley Autumn Market later this year.

Space is available for a few boats at Sawley Marina during the weekend of its annual Autumn Market and Open Weekend on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September. 10am until 4pm. The event includes a DJ, who we are told would of course advertise the boats and what is being sold.

Entertainment

There will be plenty of entertainment, with such as The Lost Boys,a  local band made up of dad and his two sons, Ged Walker Memorial Dog Show, bouncy castle/boat, Fitzy a local duo and a firm favourite of the market, a Scout Band, Long Eaton Silver Prize band, Morris Dancers and more to confirm.

There are still places available for stalls, but we are told spaces on this very popular event are running out fast.

And of course there is always the opportunity for non-boaters to have a taste of what it is like on the water.
